Post Blow Reports?

It was a barren, weedy wasteland where I was. Took one last look sunday evening, still dead, and the stench of the rotting weed along the high water edge is still in my nostrels.

Took the boat down to the rips on Saturday. Pt. Rip was still very dirty and all I caught was very small blues. Tried a couple of the other rips but came up empty. Ran a couple of miles north along the outer beach but all I found were 5 to 6 pound blues under some birds.

From what I heard on the radio they were catching stripers a few miles further north but I didn't feel like riding any further.

Checked RI from Watch Hill - Race Rock - South of BI and back on Sunday. Water was muddy and pretty much dead with the exception of 1 brief cocktail bluefish encounter.

Was out this morning at Morris Island near the mouth of Stage Harbor. Lots of bait , but the only thing chasing them were snapper blues.
