You know you're a flyfisherman when...

(help me out with this one!)

You have reels on your kitchen dish dryer...

A friend says "you have more flyrods than Jesus" and you have to think about it...

You eye roadkill as having pattern potential...

You think girls in waders can actually be hot...

(let's hear 'em)

When watching one of your kids catch a fish on a fly is a major deal.

You think about inventing a device that will allow you to take a leak without having to wade back to shore to drop the waders.

You are on vacation and wonder how much longer you will have to wait to sneak away from the family for a couple hours on the water with fly rod in hand.

You have to pause for one last cast with the graphite rod in the face of the oncoming lightening storm.

Oh I forgot, it's when you get the shakes when someone recounts a great fishing exploit and you weren't there.

Unhappy

....when you step out of the house in mid August to go to work, the sun's shining, the air's crisp and you start jonesing for the Cape.

Won't make it down this year

Michael.

...you value every square inch of desk space as a tying area

...coworkers assume that you hit the water at some point over the weekend

...most of the miles on your vehicle are from fishing trips

Your wife asks you to fix the clothesline; you agonize over Slim Beauty vs. Blood Knot.
