Problems with "New Posts"

I don't know where to post this so it's here, the most general heading.

In the past few days or so when I click the "New Posts" button I get the message: Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.

Even though I know that there are posts I have not read.

Just now I received notification via email of a new post, on clicking the button the same thing happens

Sounds like your cookies are messed up. It works here. Try clearing your cookies and temp files. Do you use IE or Firefox?

What happens if you click "last 24 hours" at the top of the page?

Had a chance to test w/ IE, Firefox and Safari. Only Safari has this problem. I recommend downloading firefox for Mac.

It is strange that it has only happened in the past week or so. I have been using Safari for years and have not had any problem.

Its possible that a recent MacOS update installed some cache feature that causes this in Safari, not sure. However I get the same problem on my Snow Leopard 10x Mac OS (recently updated).

Firefox is an excellent browser and the same on both MacOS and Windows. It has good security and excellent add-ons for instance fireftp (which is free).

I need both platforms almost every day so I use Firefox and if not for the color difference (white vs black) and applications that pop-up I wouldn't know which machine I was browsing on.

Ok Juro.
I agree it may be caused by a recent update to Safari.

thanks.

Pete. I have OSX 10.5.8 and have had zero problems with Safari and reading posts. I have not done the latest software update. Maybe that helped.

Hey Phil
If you upgrade to Snow Leopard nothing works properly to begin with, You need to update/upgrade nearly every program including a lot of standard Apple things.

This question has nothing to do with internet browsers - sorry. I'm just curious about the picture next to your user name. It looks like you are standing in a shallow flat with a very big fish. Is that an actual photo?
