Juro, I had a streamer on with wire, looking for some big barracuda. This shark came along and I cast at him for the heck of it, and he was real aggressive chasing the streamer down. Got him in to shore after a 5 minute battle.

I don't usually go after sharks and hadn't caught one in several years, but it was fun. I normally stay away from them because it is usually inevitable that when you are fighting one, a nice bone will come along and you will have wasted a good shot at the bone.

they are tricky to handle. grab behind head and also tail--very strong trying to twist out.

if you grab only by tail they will be able to bite your arm/hand--they can curl around like a snake.

Nice shots Vince. Did you see fish in front of Ivels? How about down by the mangroves where the flamingos were hanging?

We caught some jacks and snapper in the blue hole directly out front, and some bones where the flamingoes were and further south beyond them. Some good water from Ivels south for a couple miles.
