Happy Easter, Everyone!

Hope you find lots of eggs! (Not salmon eggs, either)

Cheers,

Eggless in Waldport

Same to you Eric!

I recall great times in Seattle with all the kids in the neighborhood doing egg searches, talk of its true meaning at the table (not about the bunnies), and I'll admit to my own distraction thinking about how empty the hot spots on the Skykomish must have been

Happy Easter to all and we have lots of eggs around here. Been seeing lots of gear guys with hatchery steelhead hens and the eggs are the talk of the town. With record breaking numbers of Columbia chinook coming back this spring Oregon is gearing up.
Yesterday over by the Sandy and not much happening, very few fisherman of any kind. Here on the Hood it is really crowded as we have record number of steelhead in river and from talking with locals most do not even bother to fish till April when you start getting a mix of steelhead and springers. I really miss being able to walk the river and see maybe one other person like it was in Dec., Jan., and Feb. Time for trout fishing anyway, just got back from daughters ranch on the Big Horn and that was fun. Juro wish I was out your way for opening month of the striper season, it would be fun to fish with the boys and drink well after. But no luck this year as I have the place to manage and coaching track at the high school.
