Could it be?

The straw that breaks the camels back, or breaches the beach, full moon high, 50 mph east wind Could this end walking to south beach?

It would end walking, but give us the reason to want to badly again Keith will get us over there if it pops. I'll be watching it closely over the next few days.

Pretty wild to see my hometown, Norwich CT on the national news tonight. My father sent me some photos of the local rivers. Pretty wild stuff. Fingers crossed that SB is taking the brunt of this.

Sounds good to me, I always dreaded that death march. Going was bad enough, then you turn around a see how far you have to go back.

The Hudson River fish have not begun the spawn yet. Dunno about the Chessy strain.

Current Hudson River temps:

Albany 45.5
Poughkeepsie 43.2
West Point 43.0
Hastings on Hudson 46.6

Getting close to the magic 50F.

Once that happens, all hell breaks loose for a couple of days, then those big boyz & gurlz will be on there way to a sandbar near you

You can bet that by the time we meet for Spring Clave, a lot of fish will either be passing through or (more likely) passed through the previous week

Remember, its a migration so plan to "be mobile"

Hi Adrian
I work in Albany and walk along the river most lunch times. Water is currently like chocalate milk.... no boats fishing yet. Water is still high from rain and snowmelt.
They could be down there doing their thing.....to catch them is another story!
Are you catching down river?

Coastal rivers in CT are picking up with holdover activity. It won't be too long before migrants start arriving.
