We're BACK!!

I know there were some rumors out there about us selling the business, and we did have a serious offer, but that didn't come to be for now.

Anyway, the Admiral and I are back for another season, and I have picked up another small boat for continues shuttles to North Monomoy and South Beach. I am also trying to set up a schedule for shuttles to South Monomoy for 6 or less guys weather permitting. I know its hard to get 12 guys together on short notice, so this may make it a lot easier for us to get those of you who want to go, out there more often. Of course we need to get mother nature on our side, but smaller groups will give us more opportunity to fight back on short notice.

I am also looking at offering fishing charters with the same boat in the spring and fall, and possibly during the summer months on the quieter days. The young man who is interested in running the boat is also a local avid fisherman.

More info to come, once the boat arrives and we get her rigged and ready for late April first of May.

Just wanted to let those of you, who have asked about us, know what we were up to.

For now let's all just keep praying for better Spring weather than last year!!!

Capt Keith

Keith,

That is good news. I have a small Brit invasion coming over on the 21st May so it is good to know we can still get a lift over to NM and S. Beach.

John -

You've probably heard that the current administration approved a large grant to revitalize the lighthouse. Maybe even a better well pump for filling that white bucket you had to run up and down the stairs with

Was That One bucket or Two? and please no donation of used sleeping bags. ..Yes, I heard that but was not sure when the plan goes into effect. I will lobby that any future use also include fishermen and not just hikers or birders. I would really like to schedule one during the spring clave....

Lighthouse construction bids are underway, so no overnights for this season. I believe if all goes well construction will start sometime this summer. After that, who knows what the future holds for public use. I'm sure all that will be figured out in the CCP.

Juro, I'm happy either way to sell or stay. Sometimes you just have to look at other opportunities that come about by chance.

Keith, glad to see you and the Admiral are ramping up for the spring season. If the small high tide openings down South Beach expand, you'll need two boats! Remember those days?

Keith- looking forward to giving you some business this season. See you at the Spring Clave, if not sooner.
Any thoughts of tuna fishing charters? From John's reports, that's something I would think alot of us might be interested in pursuing. I know I'd be interested in feeling the tug of one of those torpedoes on the end of a line
Take care,
Doc
