Turneffe Atoll, Belize

Here are some pics from our trip to Turneffe Flats Lodge. Working on the report now. Weather was mostly cloudy with some good breezes--still nicer than Western NY!

Wish I were there! What was the opportunity for wading for tarpon? Was the picture you took an unusual occurence or could you find tarpon reliably wading for them?

there was a small lake that had to be fished from shore or waded. not very big, very mucky and it had crocs in in--but tarpon will make some people do crazy things.

olympus stylus tough 8000. easy to carry and it does ok

I'll be on Acklins Monday am. Staying at Ivels thru Saturday, then up north Saturday until the following Saturday.
