Green Highlander Hairwing (Tube)

Green Highlander Tube Fly (HAIRWING)

Here is my first try with this pattern on a tube



TIED BY Jocelin LeBlanc

Material

Hook - TUBE FLY HOOK
Tube - Small plastic tube white
Thread - black
Body - Yellow & green floss, green highlander seal fur dubbing
Tag - Silver tinsel
But - Black ostrich herl
Wing- Yellow, orange & green bucktail
Tail- Yellow bucktail
Rib- silver tinsel

Great Job!

The Green Highlander is one of my all time favorites. If I had three flies only to go to it would the Ackroyd, Highlander and the Thunder and Lightning. Thanks for posting the tying procedure. Believe it or not, I'm going to try your pattern on Prince of Wales Silver (Coho) salmon this July.
