I am heading down to the cape on 6/4 for two days of fishing. Are the any places to launch a kayak that will put me near good fishing?

thanks

Lately that would be just about anywhere in PB. My preference would be somewhere near North Island because I prefer the unstable flats and channels on the inside. Look on a map and contact Chatham / Orleans town offices for policies on parking without a resident pass.

Where is North Island?

I don't see it on my map.

Thanks,
Quinn

North Island is the former end of the Nauset strip cut off by the new break. Anywhere south of the former area #7 on Nauset. Damn I miss my tundra!

Depending on the wind, you might be better off in 'Little Pleasant Bay', the north end of the bay
We often launch at the Paw Wah Pond landing on Portanimicut Rd, S. Orleans
The grass flats off Sampson and Hog Islands can be very good on the incoming
