Quentin, looks good. When you send them to me, give me the recipe for posting.

I'll do a posting of all the flies, and then send out to each participant. I probably won't wait for Jeff. When he sends the flies, I'll send to each.

Quentin's Tuna Fly...

DNA FROSTY FISHAIR BAITFISH

Hook: 2/0 Tiemco 600SP
Thread: Fine Mono
Body: DNA Frosty Fish Fiber/Fishair blend tied Hi-Tie style, starting slightly behind mid-shank, as follows:
3 bundles of white/white, tied on top of the shank,
1 slightly larger bundle of pink/white, tied on top of the shank,
1 bundle of lavender/white, tied on top of the shank,
1 bundle of blue/white, tied on top of the shank,
1 shorter bundle of white/white, tied on lower sides/bottom of fly just behind hook eye,
1 bundle of olive/white, tied on top of shank and spread slightly down each side just behind hook etye.
Eyes: 1/4" prismatic adhesive eyes
Chemicals: super glue (or equivalent), Soft Body (or equivalent), black Sharpie. I used generous amounts of Soft Body to help prevent fouling. I'm not sure if I used too much or not enough. Constructive criticism is welcome.

They're Here

Flies arrived today. They got here in excellent condition and they are superb! Thanks again, Jim, for meistering a fun and excellent swap. Jim and John, thanks for the impetus in the first place.

Now I have the worst itch to go fish them, but the ice is too thick.

Tuna Fly Swap

Just picked up today's mail and was happy to find the envelope containing the tuna fly swap flies. They are all excellent and will not be fished as they will be models for me to copy. I'm going to be up late tonight. Thanks to everyone and particularly to Jim for coordinating.

Mine arrived the other day. Excellent work everyone! I'll try to avoid the temptation to use them for pike while waiting for a chance to use them in the salt .

Thank you everyone who participated. Special thanks to JimS for running the swap and posting pics and recipes, and to Todd for his assistance with the tying technique for the pattern I submitted.

BTW, my flies include a "no questions asked" warranty: If, for any reason or no reason at all, you are dissatisfied with the fly you got from me, I will gladly take it back and return your fly to you the next time I'm out on your boat .
