Hoping to get to the post office tomorrow before my flight. Otherwise, it will be end of the month for mine.

Jim....I dont want to promote thread drift but the bahamas was cool....It also appears I am going back..

I did a short writeup on my blog on the adventure....
http://finaddictioncharters.blogspot.com/ If you look at the Silvertail Destination site you will see they have another Lodge on Ragged Island. This place is as remote as you can get. Let's just say the bluewater rods are going on that trip..

Don't wait for me . . .

I'm not even close to done yet

I tried to copy a pattern from a photo using an unfamiliar material and the flies just aren't coming out right. I will need to get one of the flies so I can see how it's tied, or tie another pattern. Either way, it would be a while before I could get them in the mail.

Jim, if you get all the other flies and want to finish things up you can drop me from the swap. I don't want to hold everyone else up. My flies probably wouldn't be worthy anyway . If you have to wait for other flies I will keep tying (trying? ).

Hey Quentin, no worries. I'm out of town right now. This is supposed to be a fun project without pressure, so continue your tying. Besides, tuna season isn't until June. Did you run out of vodka too?

No . . . I still have a little left. But I have had to restock the Harpoons a few times .

OK, I will keep tying!

Hey Jim and swapees, I haven't done justice to the patterns I've received in terms of photo rendition of the great creations received. I'll strive to provide better portrayals at the end of the swap. Two more and we are done.

Jim,

I've finally approached the top of the learning curve for the pattern I'm planning to submit. I have the method down, but I'll need the weekend to finish them up. If you don't mind waiting a few more days I should be able to get them in the mail on Monday. If you want to proceed without me that is ok.
