Cool Salmon on Poppers

How crazy is that? Leland Miyawaki might say the only thing crazy about it is if you're not trying it. What a blast, and a most memorable morning with Tony and Leland.

We met at the usual o'dark thirty

Cruised comfortably in the dawn calm to a fishy spot

The popper master plays his hand while other salmon slash next to the boat

Salmon feeding ravenously on candlefish, sand lance and herring

Huge jelly

Deception Pass

Moving on

That jelly pic is awesome! It seams to me the jelly numbers were down this year as weel or maybe they're late also.
