Call for information - fall beach tarpon blitzes

I'm sure we've all seen the footage of sardinia blackening the beaches and huge tarpon blasting them in a few feet of water. The limited investigation I've done indicates that this is a November phenomenon in the Carribean - Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands etc.

With tens of thousands of members, I am hoping the worldwide membership can help build a case to go find these beach blasting tarpon...

anyone have intelligence on the topic?

I have something on the BVI that was a November trip if I can dig it up. Talks of catching tarpon in the surf and that they were chasing bait fish. Think I have it on a cd. I will mail it to you.

Pete -

I hope to hear some of the music you are producing when completed.

Does Los Roques have tarpon in the pilchard swarms as well as crazy bones?
