Any MA CCA members on here ?
someone from the Friends of Ellisville Marsh has asked me for help.
due to sand movement (and the loss in '87 of maintenance permits) the marsh is now landlocked below half tide.
they are trying to get the permits from the State & Feds to re cut the channel back to its original lines and prevent parts of the marsh from drying up, and restore the fishing.
the cost of the work is minimal btw - an initial $75,000 to clear the old channel.
are the MA CCA an active group ? - i see on the CCA site that the contact addy is Texas !
