I'm arriving with Millerbrown early Friday morning in time to catch the Rip Ryder ferry over to N. Monomoy assuming that there would be a contingent of forum members heading there too. However, if members are heading elsewhere, I would want to join up with them. This my and Millerbrowns first clave so we are unfamilar with how the clave works, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Steve

I leave Boston at 5.30pm ish on Thursday, so i'll be around from about 730 ish.

initial plan is to fish the last of the incoming if its not raining too hard.

Friday & Saturday plans I will leave to the weather gods - the current forecast is much the same as last years although a few degrees warmer.

a word to wise for the 1st timers - the rooms are summer rooms, with only a little heat and drying facilities. bring plenty of spare clothes

I'll be part of the Vermont coalition (first time to the clave) and will likely be arriving early Thurs or Fri. Would love to hook up with kayakers, rip ryders, empty boats, landlubbers, beach drivers, etc and would be happy to help out with Clave.

FWIW, I've stayed at places where I was able to use the heat from the back of the refrigerator to help dry my clothes .

I hope to be on the cape first thing Friday morning. Not sure if I'll try to catch up with the canal crew or head straight to Chatham or stop somewhere in between. Guess it depends on the timing and the weather. If I don't catch the shuttle to SB or NM I'll most likely be walking the shores of Morris Island. I'll be wearing my light blue Flyfishing Forum hat, so if any of you first time clavers see a guy with a light blue hat repeatedly untangling his fly fline, come on over and say hi!

Larry,

I'll give you a call when I get to the Chatham area, or maybe sooner if I find fish before I get to Chatham .

This will be my first time ever to the Cape, other then the recent spey casting morning at the canal. I'll be arriving Thursday afternoon/evening, will be attending the Canal fishing/casting Friday am and then will be following someone I hope, like a lost puppy.

I will be at the refuge at 0730HRS on Thursday morning. Probably standing beside a black Subaru. Anyone is more than welcome to join me. Just let me know so I know to wait or look for someone.

I will probably be on the canal early hoping to meet up with Paul and possibly Adrian. Will post more as I find out. Then in the afternoon I will probably be taking care of the costco run for Juro so he does not have to worry about it this year so I will not be fishing the afternoon.

Sean- will be looking for you at the Canal Friday AM (or are you going Saturday AM?)- my Rio Skagit Versitip package showed up at the office today- 650 grain head itching to touch that fishy ditch, with my choice of four 15 ft tips (I bought the 11wt intermediate tip as an extra). Would be willing to help out with the Costco run in the afternoon if you need a hand.
