Danielsson HD 11fourteen

New in box with paper, tool, and spare clicks. Never mounted on rod. Backing or line never put on it. $480 firm, including shipping and insurance to US and Canada. I'm trying to get back what I paid for it to upgrade to a heavier non-one-way-clutch reel. The only reason - I plan to go after 100lb+ tuna in the future.

I have this ad on Speypages.com/speyclave also. Sean posted a reply with a photo of a 70lb tuna! He said that he managed tuna up to 70lb with this model. It seems to be stronger than I had thought. So, even if I cannot upgrade to a stronger reel, I may not be undergunned so much. By the way, if you happen to be able to pick it up in Honolulu, $460 cash will work. I know that most people fishing the Christmas Isld stop over here. Otherwise, I can accept only money order (preferred) or personal check, and ship the reel via USPS Priority.
Thanks.

Ah, that's too bad. I may be moving back to Japan at the end of Aug. If you want to try your luck on those huge oio (bonefish) on Oahu during your stay in Honolulu, let me know. I will happily give you some local info. I hooked a LARGE oio in early Jan that I estimate to be EASILY over 30" in length. The largest oio taken on a fly here is about 18 pound, as far as I know of. My best has been only 29", around 10 pound. It's tough fishing here, but can be rewarding.

Hey Sean,
I just returned a PM without reading this. Did you want Oahu bone info as well?
