Happy Birthday son....It is rare that a son would be so dedicated in providing his "pop" all the shade and wind protection that he needs on the flats. Without you, I would never be able to light my pipe on those windy days...you are a very good boy!!!! I was shocked and touched by your recent letter to me where you indicated that you would now also piggy back me up the stairs.
All fathers should be as lucky as me!!
Dad

Happy Birthday!

Gary,

Not to ruin your day, but I think you should take a day and bring your father in to the doctor, I know of a good one in Harwich, and maybe talk about all the pills (cialis) he's on. I do believe, he is hallucinating about some fantasy island fishing trip. I knew something was up when he mentioned "a beatiful lady" helped him on the boat. First of, no young lady would dare grab on to the that Geriatric brace on his hand for fear his hand may break off. Knowing how fruggle he is, taking you to MC Ds on the ride home, he seems to have turned my old fee of $10 into $100,000. Plus, he is obviously still holding a grudge about my bait fishing vs. his little fly.

Again, sorry to bring this up on your big day, but after all it is your father we are talking about.

Capt Keith

Thanks Keith for the tip!!!! Cialis....maybe it works on thumbs too and I can then fish without the brace. Just shows you the kind consideration and caring that one receives from the friends one meets fishing. Do you have FlyDoc's #?
If it works for 4 hours of fly fishing do I have to go for emergency care?

Ron- just make sure to slug them down quickly with a large glass of water...a patient of mine tried to swallow one without the water...the pill got stuck in his throat, and he ended up with a stiff neck
