Yea, those fish were a blast! The cuda took me deep into my backing on its first run! Normally cuda aren't endurance fighters, but this fish made some blistering runs 10 minutes into the fight. It took me more than 15 minutes to bring boatside. At one point, I think it was being chased by a spinner shark (it started jumping near the beach, scaring a couple beachgoers in the process) and later in the fight, it had an even bigger cuda next to it!

Man, those jacks fought as hard as any salmon I've ever caught up here in MI. The only thing is they don't jump. These jacks never took me into my backing, but I'm waiting for one of the big jacks to try to spool me! :p
