Question For Conneticutt Road Trippers

I'm tired of McBreakfasts when travelling to/from NYC to visit my daughter. What are the best breakfast diners off 95, east of New Haven?

I usually bring my own breakfast when I go to CT so I haven't checked out any breakfast diners. I had dinner once at the Old Saybrook Diner and it was very good. Not sure how their breakfasts are, or if they're even open for breakfast. Might be worth a try if you don't find anything better. I'm sure Phil (bonefishmon) can probably come up with some good suggestions.

There's Pat's Country Kitchen in Old Saybrook right at the junction of Routes 1 and 154. Very good food, and right off of the highway.
