Need some help...

I've gotten the ok from my boss (i.e. my wife) to buy a kayak after years of asking!

I need some help deciding what to get. I'm primarily going to be using it for ocean fishing. I'm a big guy 6'4 260 so I need something with some room. I also have big feet (15 wide) so the cockpit needs to have foot space, which I understand can be limited in some boats. Other than that, I'm a guy with a house and 2 kids so money isn't exactly jumping out of my pockets, so whatever I can get on the cheap is good.

Thanks in advance!

All things considered...

Priceage...Girthage...Bulkage...Immenseness...
A Sit-On-Top might be your best option...
"Used" would keep the price down but be careful about getting something that's been stored outside in the sun...
Long term UV takes a toll and degrades the tupperwear!
There's a shop in Hyannis that has a bunch of used boats that seem reasonably priced and worth a look...
Let your fingers do the walking first...
There are numerous noteworthy "end-of-season opportunities"...Dealers would rather thin the herd of left-overs...
ChillyDarkDaze = BuyersMarket !!!
Test trial BEFORE you buy unless you're absolutely certain what you want!
Don't skimp on a cheap/heavy paddle...money lost!...You'll only replace it down the road for a light user friendly model...
Good hunting!
