Hi Oz

I bought a pair of simple very small stainless pliers from Bass Pro shops over 5 years ago and they are still going strong. They cost $4.95

Pete

I nominate "The Penguin" for next years Mark Twain Humor award. He will follow in the steps of some of the greats, Billy Crystal, Whoopie Goldberg, ETC. Pete you are the Bomb. The plier question on the other hand is not an easy one. But I have always liked the Checkpoint pliers, and they make a new model that is Titanium. I think they fit your criteria.

Hi,

I came in to this thread late. My brother-in-law recently showed me a nice set of pliers that was black anondized with a sheath..there were two pliers..one needle nose sized and a large one you could do some real work. I was surprised that he bought it at Walmart..I went out and got my own set..I think for $19.95.
