Exclamation Hurricane Noel to pass 150m east of the Cape

60 mph winds, 3 inches of rain and 30ft waves predicted.

I hope everyone keeps safe, but can we offer up prayers that a few of those 30 footers hit the Southway ?

Mark.

I wish I could spend the night at the SM Light house....oil lamps, a radio, and wine for my girlfriend. If I worked for the Wild Life Sanctuary...you can bet I would.

There is the perfect retirement job for you John. Hang out at the lighthouse, drink wine, & do hurricane dances.

I can see you now standing wild eyed on the beach with those guide lights they use at the airport to park planes, directing the waves to crash on the land bridge.

Maybe the guzzle will be reopened. I can see the good Capt. Kieth doing the rain dance. Time will tell. FishHawk

So...I guess the...

RIP TRIP is cancelled AGAIN!?

I can just imagine Mayor John as Keeper of the Light...
After about three months...he'll be setting fires to coax passing ships onto the shoals in true MOONCUSSER fashion!
Howlin' at the moon...Smokin' seaweed...commiserateing with the Amazonian Autobahn birder chicks!
Protector of the realm and confidante' to ALL creatures big and small!
