Upper Cape Report

Just got back from a week on the upper Cape. Me and the Miss's spent the week enjoying the beaches and the scenery. Got out on the water most evenings and some mornings. The chicks are hatching so access by vehicle was limited. We usually ended up on coast guard beach, which we had pretty much to ourselves.
Stripers were cooperating in the surf, conditions not great for sight fishing but, could pick them up blind. Every once and a while a 5-6 lb blue would make an appearance to shake things up. Ended most nights on the beach with a good meal a cigar and the stars, not bad. Not the most exciting report but a good change of pace for a Pennsylvania coal cracker .
Tomorrow itís back to the local limestoner 7x tippet and a size 24 trico mmmÖ too bad I was just getting my dbbl haul working.

Sounds like a good time . Nice pic with the sunset (sunrise?) hookup.

The farther you can cast, the easier it is for a fish to take you into your backing. I seldom see my backing . . .
