Celebrity Status...

for one of our own. Juro Mukai was mentioned in the June/July issue of Saltwater Fly Fishing for his deep eel pattern. The article, penned by Alan Caolo, details some tips and strategies for flats fishing in the northeast for our striped friends. Its a great read and talks about the deep eel as one of the "go to" patterns in the spring and early summer. Good on you Juro.

Well I guess I'd better send that check to Alan for putting me in there...

You know this will raise sales on the news stand... one copy for my mother on Mother's Day...

Actually net sales may go down...

Didn't know that Jim, thanks for letting me know.

I just read that today during my lunch hour. Good on ya, Juro.

I like how Alan writes. Paraphrasing:

"Big stripers aren't taking chances exposing themselves in skinny water for nothing.....they're there to feed."

John, definitely on the spicy shrimp!

But seriously... celebrity status???

Al is definitely a star but I'm a mushroom in this industry... in the dark and being fed a lot of BS...
