Auto login

Up until this week I have never had to login to post threads. Has something changed or do I need to reset something?

Phil,

I haven't had any login issues. Sounds like you just cleaned out the cookie on your machine with your login. When you login next time there should be a little box you can check that says "remember me next time...", just check it and you should be all set.

Phil- a number of anti-spyware programs scan for and (if you click certain buttons in response to prompts) delete cookies, that may include the one that saves your login info for this site. Thus, you may find yourself having to login after using such software if it is configured to scan for/delete cookies (or if you delete the cookies manually).
Personally, my favorites are the Tollhouse chocolate chip variety.....

I'd say the cookie monster has made a visit to your machine.

Instead of turning on accept all cookies you can do it selectively.
IE - tools - internet options - privacy -
click sites button - put in the site name flyfishingforum.com and click the allow button.

This way you can accept cookies from the forum but not get a bunch of junk from the adware.

You've tossed your cookies.
