Hiromi Kuboki Crab patterns

I saw some pictures of Hiromi Kuboki Crab patterns which looked absolutely fantastic, the best I have ever seen. Does anybody know where these can be purchased ? If not - does anybody have any details on how they are tied/ made ? I have google searched but with no success.

Thanks in advance for any help in getting my hands on these works of art.

The Amazing flats flies of Hiromi Kuboki, Saltwater Flyfishing Magazine Feb/March 1997

I believe the crab was created from clipped deer hair with an epoxy finish.

If I still have the mag I'll post the recipe. ........

There is a post here in the archives about his shrimp pattern - type "Hiromi" in the search feature and you should find it.

Thanks for your help, I had found the shrimp pattern in the thread and search but couldnt find the crab patterns. It would be great if you found the old article/ recipe, the pictures looked so good, I thought that they were molded and hand painted.

hiromi crab flies

Hi,

A friend of mine just sent me a substantial photo review of Hiromi Crab flies...with some hints as to how they are made. This file is too large for this reply, but please email me if you wish to receive
