RE:Who's on cape this weekend?

I spent last evening tieing up grey/silver deep sandeels.... with my luck, the fish will be on to smelts or some other pattern I don't have

I have a B-Day party to attend Sat. afternoon, but I'll be at Chatham close to first light. I may get up extra early and give the Canal a try, ~3:00 AM.

Grey only after bile juice! Oh Roop...

Emerald / peacock highlights, olive tones on back, deep fishing designs with little (or no in my case) bouyant materials. A little flashiness is good this time of year in the deep fast water - unlike Monomoy flats in summer.

Greg - hope you can sleep and drive at the same time

Not to worry, Juro, I figured the grey was a factor of the digestive process and tied most up with my normal green/yellow wing with rainbow angel hair on top -- as well as a single pure greyling, just to be safe.

Heading to Dennis as soon as I can get my stuff together after work. If early enough I may check out the end of the Bass River. I'll be at the light dark and early Saturday.

<VBG> Roop -

I like all my little children to come home to pappa. Especially after the carnage you made it go thru. Imagine dealing with that huge mouth! (the fish, not the fisherman)

Just kidding, I'll tie you a six-pack for Christmas.

Juro - if your deep eels are akin to beer, your silversides are pure Laphroag. Here's a nice chunky who got hammered on one at the Bonelcave:

Cheers!

many thanks to Marvin for the photo!
