Anyone fishing this weekend?

I checked out a few places around town but there was still lots of ice. There were even some people out on the ice at one lake . I did manage to catch a pickerel near a culvert where a small stream enters a pond. Guess that means spring has officially started for me! I'll probably check a few other places today after it warms up a bit.

Anyone else fishing this weekend?

I got in a little casting practice with the big surf rod. Have to tune those arms this time of year

I didn't get any fishing in, but I dropped the batteries into the boat and got the kayak rack put on the Pathfinder.

I'm good to go.

I pickked up my licence last week-end - quite late for me, I usually pick it up in January. I thought about heading out to the Housatonic today but water levels are still very high from snow melt. Things should improve over the coming week.
