Thumbs up Spey-O-Rama 2007

If you are like me and need lots of advance notice to schedule vacations, the Jimmy Green International Spey-O-Rama 2007 will be held at the Golden Gate Angling and Casting Club in San Francisco from Friday, April 27 to Sunday April 29, 2007.
Definitely an impressive gathering of casters and sponsors. If you are interested in spey casting, I'd recommend going to this at least once for the experience.

I really hope to attend this one. I've attended two and each was spectacular with many of the biggest names in Spey worldwide in attendance.

Date Change

Per Kush (and a review of the GGA&C Club site) -- change of plans on the date for the 2007 Spey-O-Rama.

Quote from Kush:
"I recieved a phone call from this year's Spey-O-Rama organizer to finally clear up this year's date. Unfortunately there has been a great deal of shifting of the dates but Kazu assures me that the dates are now solid.

Contrary to the e-mail that was circulated last week the dates for Spey-O-Rama 2007 will be April 13-15.

So it is now safe to keep an eye peeled for the best flight prices and to book hotels etc! It seems that this years event will be interesting, there is a significant contingent of Japanese casters coming to test their mettle as well as some good female casters - it will be cool."
