The "X" Knot

What does everyone think of the "X'knot ? (non-sponsor link removed) click on "how to tie the X knot" just under the Location X advertisement). I think some testing may be in order, especially for a backing loop to the flyline as well as shock tippets to class.

It's simple, lays straight and the only question, how strong is it. Suggest you ask Bill Nash, the knot guru on Dan Blanton's site.
