Question JOE'S JOY FLY

Hi, has anybody ever heard of "Joe's Joy"

Back in the late 70s and early 80s i was fishing the Metolius River is Central Oregon. Another fisherman was catching the heck out of the trout and gave me a couple of his flys, they were called "Joe's Joy". These flys were phenomenal and would work for all trout in just about any situation. The old guy who tied them lived in Multnomah, Oregon. He owned and operated Joe's Flyshop. The fly was tied on a Size 8 or 10, 2X long regular hook. Had a Gray Mallard Breast Feather wing that was made by laying several of the feathers on top of one another concave side down. I can't remember if it had any hackle or not or what the body was made of or what color it was. I want to find the pattern for this fly and reintroduce it to my box.

Looking for help.
