Saltwater Edge show - Feb 10th

Another great sponsor has their annual free show in Newport RI this coming Saturday.

www.saltwateredge.com

I plan on being there barring any unforseen events.
Hope to catch up with a few forum members

Thanks Adrian......

for the heads up on this event. It was great to see a good part of our gang attending. Got some great advice from Joe Cordiero on flat wing design and the skinny on extra long dyed saddles he has worked long and hard to get back on the market. PM me for info on that if interested. My brother Lance attended and is excited about learning to fling and tie flies. I hope he gets into the motherload at the Clave to get him excited about the catching part. I bought him a rod and reel for Christmas. Nothing fancy but should do the trick.

Phil

Good little show. The bucktails were picked over by the flytyers before we got a change to get our hands on some. Good bucktail is hard to find these days.
Great to see the Penguin, Adrian , Slinger, Sean,Bonefishmon and Basser.
Got see how to tie Crease flies with the secret foil.
A nice way to spend the afternoon.
