Early RI report

Just spoke to Chuck Reid. He and Dana found hungry but small fish just off the jetty at West Wall. He says there were cows in about a foot of water out on the beach, but they were fussy. Bunker flies are the ticket.

Chuck is looking for a fly shop in the area. If anyone can help him out, please email him.

RE:Early RI report

Just got off the phone with these guys, they are open 24 HOURS now through the weekend due to the Tri-State tournament going on (didn't know about that one). They have flies! Though he's out of bunker patterns he said to stop by anyway since there are "others that are working".
Said he's about 4-5 minutes from Watch Hill.

RE:Early RI report

Pick up Atlantic Ave. by heading West out of the parking lots at Weekapaug.

RE:Early RI report

Just got off the phone with Chuck and he's headed over. I also told him about this place who says he has "tons of flies including bunker":

COVEDGE BAIT & TACKLE
Watch Hill Road
Westerly, RI 02891
401 348 8888

He says from Pt. Judith area take Route 1 to 1A. Go towards Watch Hill and then there's a sign to go towards Westerly and he's on that road not far up.
