Salmon River Bou's

Here are some simple and quick "Alaska Bou" flies that work well for me. Tied with black tungsten conehead.

Hey Jim, thanks for the post.

Are you swinging them or swimming them, or what????

Hi Jay
Mustad black Salmon hook size 4 & 2.
I usually cast quartering (45 degree downstream ) and swing
accross. Will usually let hang a moment, twitch a few times and strip back.
Hopefully the water comes down tommorrow night!

Very good point, also, by allowing it to hang even longer that you would normally would, gives the fish more time to observe it and react.
