Wink skagit line help

new to skagit casting have just purchased a loomis 13'4 7/8 weight dredger glx
would like and information or help on lines to match with this rod and sink tips lengths and types have old 9140 been using for traditional spey casting for 6 years as well. thanks to all that respond help is very apprichated

Our sponsor Rio Products provides a recommendation chart for matching lines to rods which includes their popular and effective Skagit lines. I would take a look on rioproducts.com for starters.

I haven't had the pleasure of playing with that particular rod but have heard good reviews.

Another good source specifically Spey is speypages.com run by Sean Ransom where you can find great product reviews written by Dana Sturn.

just changed their web pages and the line redommendations are difficult to find - have not been able to do that yet.

ted checked the rio web site and found link to line specs. go to web site pull down on rio community and click on spey fishing then will find link to all spey rod line specs thanks a gain to all with help

Thanks for finding that info. I have looked at it many times in the past and could not find it easily on their new website....
