Malaria in Belize ????
I'am hoping to finally get to Belize (Ambergris) for a DIY this Feb. Have been trying for a couple years now. Anyway, someone (non-fisher person) mentioned about
the need for antimalarial meds there. The CDC does mention Belize as a malarial area, but I didn't know you have to start an antimalarial medication regime before going, while there and for weeks once you get back. Have those of you that have been to Belize taken the meds? How big a problem do you think malaria is there ? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
