Parking Restrictions

Now that Labor Day is past have the parking restrictions, ie: no tickets, been relaxed at places like the Chatham Light and other access points on Cape? Thinking more on weekdays, not weekends.

Other places I'm not sure but the Chatham Light is year round.

I have been ticketed two weeks before memorial day and two weeks after labor day. The weather on both occaisions was foul and I was one of only a handful of cars there.

Maybe the out of state licence plate caught their attention?

Adrian, i was told that they ticket until Columbus day and that they will generally leave you alone before and after the Holidays if you put a 'gone fishing' note on the dash.

anyone want to test that for me ?

mark.

I usually call the chatham police and ask. Calls are recorded if they say OK and still ticket you and you will have to take time to visit orleans to fight the ticket adding another fishing day in a couple weeks

If they say no, park on Bridge St. or the refuge to fish Morris anytime.
