The fate of our gamefish is dependent on the menhaden. Indeed it is the premiere fish of our ocean. Why can't man and the legislative bodies realize that biodiversity is the key to a sound, and long-term sustainability of our oceans. I guess it is man's greed and ambivalence to populations growths and its dependence on ocean resources that alarms me.
Thanks Juro for the thread and the importance of imposing restraints on the menhaden fishery to insure a healthy ecosystem.
