fall trips

Is anyone doing any trips this fall. I'm tossing around the idea of a short solo trip in November or December since I missed out this year.

We have some regional activity in late fall (Maine salmon, Rhode Island blitzes, Cape Cod island camping, etc) with one short excursion to Puerto Rico for tarpon coming up in early September. Then we will head to our annual Acklins trip in late winter (Feb / March time frame). You might consider the Thompson for C&R fishing in November, or to the bonefish belt in December.

Oh, I'll be on the Thompson periodically from this weekend until it closes. It's been awhile since I've seen a flat though and I've had success in November in both Belize and Abaco. Maybe I'll try redfish or something. I will be in the South Pacific in March so I will miss jumping on board the Acklins train again. Maybe I will have to try in November?

Fall is a great time for reds here in NE FL. You get to stalk them on foot tailing in the spartina grass. Very tide sensative though, only happens for a week or so each month around the full moon from now to November.

I'll be on North Andros from 10/2 to 10/12 or so and would be glad to hook up with someone.
