Thumbs up Kern River, California

Went out Sunday morning 8-13. Fished the Kern River. The Kern is fishing just PERFECT I C&R many trout that averaged about the size of the fish in the photo below. The fish were taking nymphs and streamers and also dries in the the hours between 6-8pm. I wanted to just put out some info on one of my home waters

Kern is in the Sequioa National Forest is it not? Man that sounds like a real treat to fish.

Very healthy rainbow. Fins are perfect.

Keep the photos coming!
