Beaufort, NC Reds in the grass 7/8

Went out tonight with a guy from Winston- Salem. We had a great time. I would guess that we saw upwards of 30 fish and he got to cast about half of them. Finally got one to eat after some heartbraking misses and spooking a couple by landing the flyline right on top of them. Nobody said it was easy. He did a great job sticking with it and adjusting his casting and getting the fly where it needed to be. WTG! Here is the fish just taking off:

I got a nice shot of the fish thrashing in the water:

The obligatory hero shot:

His buddy was a spin fisherman and he got one in the grass too. I finally found a good lure for spin fishing in the grass. It was almost too easy. In fact it was too easy. :-)

Guess I didn't do a very good job of photoshopping. Thanks for helping out my budd on his trip to London. You are still the coolest.
