Charleston, SC Road trip

Here is why there are so many fish.

It's about a 7 foot range from low to high tide. This is dead low.

And this is the top of high.

There's a reason it's called a mud flat.

Nice fish that Nat Fly spotted for me from the tower. The wind was
coming from a funny angle so I got out of the boat and was lucky enough
to get him to eat (Borski Chernoby Crab with a cone head instead of
dumbell's so it would slide through the grass easier.) The grass is behind
the photographer in this shot. We are about 100 yds away from where
the fish was hooked due to him smoking my whole flyline and 50 yards of
backing. Sweet! We had a great time. Saw a gajillion fish, got lucky
enough to catch a couple. Good tides here at home this weekend to try it
all again.

As much as you like sight fishing you would love Charleston.
