Hi Alexander

I haven't seen much on Mullet fishing here in the USA but back in the U.K. it has gotten some serious attention.

We have a "cousin" saltwater site ukswff.com where you will find lots of posts about Mullet and the way they drive anglers crazy trying to tempt them with flies.

If you do get lucky, they will strip your line to the backing as quickly as any bonefish so its a worthwhile challenge!

You can cheat and get them feeding on bread then fish a white chennile fly. After that try small 12 - 14 nymphs. PTN s work. If you want to remain pure

Over here we search for rotting weed . This harbours millions of creepy crawleys that the mullet will feed on at high tide.

The milkfish weed fly fished on a slow retrieve is known to work. I fished amongst about 3000 mullet the other day . Not a touch. Thats mullet

Mad dogs and englishmen fish for mullet!
