Intruder = RAW

I`ve been tying some intruders latley, and I must say I like them a lot. Most of my flies (scandinavian) are tempeldogs, in one way or the other. Discowering the intruder has given me the urge to start up tying again.
Not only a cool tie, they WILL catch fish to. I`m looking forward to testing them in my home pool

Nice flies

These are interesting. Can you point me to a pattern or step by step for these? I am always interesting in adding to the arsenal for the more picky fish.

What is a templedog?

When tying intruders I use FITS tube medium and small, and for singelhook variation: http://www.fiskenett.com/viewtopic.php?t=2748 (The writing is in norwegian, but hopfully the pictures speak for them self?!)

Sorry!

A Tempeldog is a spesific type of dog, although the tying material "tempeldog" comes from a variation of dogs.

Anders,

Very nice flies! I use Intruders heavily during the winter months for steelhead. I will have to try some of your colors for my fishing. Has the season opened in your area yet?

Charlie.

There are some rivers that has opend (I am waiting for "my" rivers open):

Some links whith catches and pictures:
(Nowegian/English: Dato=Date, Vekt=Weight, Bilde=Picture, Redskap=Gear, Flue=fly)

My home rivers do not open until 15. june, so I`ve got some time to kill.

I`m done tying my salmonflies, so I`m tackling up for a trip to the Cyclades during mid summer. I do not know if there is any use of bringing any gear, but I have to give it a try. (You never know what happen)
