Striper fishing around Eastham

I'm headed to Eastham for Memorial Day w/e for a weekend of soccer games but want to try and sneak out to do some striper fishing. Any ideas of where to go down that end of the Cape?

Thanks,

Ken

Depending on the amount of time you have to spare, you are literally surrounded with options.

I would hit Nauset and if you are in the mood for some exercise fish down to the inlet (a couple of miles) and back.

Also take a look at Google maps in hybrid mode and you can see all kinds of nice accesses into Nauset up inside, very good fishing in there in late May.

Just to the north are lots of areas around Welfleet on the bayside, and more big beach accesses as well on the backside.

Heading south is Skaket, and you are not too far from Brewster Flats or even a run down to Chatham light for a morning tide.

To the north you have Head of the Meadows and Coast Guard beach, Ptown is a bit far but again it depends on how much time.

You can't help but bump into fish that time of year up there.

When you say Nauset do you mean in the harbor itself?

I was referring to the big beach, it's fishing quite well.
