Reminds me, I've got to make sure I throw in an old tooth brush when I get my gear together tonight.

5/5 Spent about 45 minutes catchin cookie cutter fish way up stream. Need a 4 wgt or bigger fish. Not even an arm toggling 20 something. Plus I expected to be by myself but there were conga lines on both side of the stream.

5/6 am Looked at the end of Bass River, didn't bother. took a ride to Paines creek, one sole optimist practicing his casting. Pretty dead looking. Threw a fly by the hous and got anothe one of those bait sized stripes.

Reality check was that we hadn't been down since New Years and the place needs a deep cleaning. Apparently my daughter, son-in-law and son don't know how to operate a vacuum cleaner.
