The Blue

Hi

Just a pattern that work well for me.

Hook: Salar silver #7
Tag: Oval silver small
Tail: Pearl Ice Yarn
Body: 2/3 flat silver, 1/3 SLF Finesse mixed with Pearl Ice Yarn
Ribbing: Oval silver small
Bodyhackle: White
Fronthackle: Blue hen and golden pheasan coloured black
Wing: Blue tempel dog, angel hair damsel blue, blue mirage flash and black tempeldog.

Really sweet! tube style fly lashed to a hook. The combination of materials look AWESOME together! The MRS is going to have a cow! I need to rush out and buy sum more stuff so I can ty up a few

I agree with danimal, nice fly! And blue is not all the common of a color for salmon flies in North America. I will have to make up a few of these for the summer runs.

The same fly tied as jig/hiddencone. This var. move like nothing else in water. The materials are the same as the one above, only tied on a cone head...
