Large Area Distribution

Just came back from fishing a south county RI estuary with five friends. We may have landed a dozen small schoolies total. There are a fairly high number of small bass around widely distrubuted throughout the State. Not in any great concentration, but they seem to be all over. I think that this is really good news especially mid April. There seems to be a great year class of 12 inch fish.

A lot of the herring runs are showing some life now. Glad they halted netting them before any more depletion or damage is done. This is good. Usually they wait till there almost extinct before they inact a change.

There should be plenty of fish around for the Rhody IceBreaker the 29th of April.
