Hi there ~

This is my first post here . . . cool site!

I have been fly fishing for quite a few years, I wouldn't say I'm good by y'alls standards, but I can find my way around a stream on a good day

I have a 5 weight Sage DS2 & have been using an OLD System 1 456 reel for years. Its kinda noisy, but its done it's job.

Well the System one is ready to retire & I want to get a new reel, but I want to try to keep it under $200.

I would love to get some input on the subject.

Thanks a bunch

Do you already have a top quality line on the rod? If not, take some of the money you were going to spend on a reel and invest it in the line.

Cabela's has a really nice super large arbor reel. Haven't tried it out but the design is really cool and their products are always good quality.
